Before I joined OWNDAYS, my impression was that OWNDAYS is very unique and is an attractive brand. Never before in Singapore that there is an optical shop which has the open concept where customers can just freely try on the glasses with such comfortable shopping experience. Of course, there is also the fast service in which you can collect your glasses in 20 minutes after payment is done.

I decided to join OWNDAYS because I always enjoy fashion. It was however a new challenge for me because this is the first time I’d be working in the retail line and in the optical trade. Nevertheless, I enjoy working in OWNDAYS because OWNDAYS is like a family to me, more than just teams or colleagues.

My job is very challenging. In fact, I’d say every day is a new challenge to me. All the customers who come in to our shops are different. They have different requirements and they want to try different frames. We have to recommend them frames which are suitable for them and when they try on the frames, they would feel good and be happy with our OWNDAYS services. Their satisfaction is the biggest motivation for me. Also, as a trainer, I’m giving training to new joiners and to share my skills and experience with them.

I would like to go a step further in the OWNDAYS family. I hope I can do even better in terms of this trainer position so that I can help new joiners get on the job faster and better. I hope I can give better prospect to our new joiners.
