My first impression of OWNDAYS was that it offers a wide variety of very attractive frames with good and quick service. There is a very simple pricing system that is easy for customers to understand and the open concept makes it more inviting for customers to come in and try the glasses. This is very different from other optical stores which appear less welcoming in comparison. When I first saw OWNDAYS at nex, I felt that entering the shop and trying on the glasses was so easy and stress-free.

OWNDAYS is like a family to me. It was actually very challenging for me when I first joined OWNDAYS because it was my first time working in sales. I just pushed myself and told myself to keep going so that I could be better in the future. My colleagues have helped me a lot in getting the hang of things.

As a Sales Staff, one of my duties is to ensure that my colleagues deliver good and quick service to customers. I will come up with different ways to keep them motivated and to create a happy working environment. When we are happy working, we will also be more likely to send a smile to customers whom we meet in the shop. By being cheerful, it won’t be too intense when we are working and customers will also feel the cheerful, happy ambience in OWNDAYS.

Of course, supervising and motivating others is not easy. I will have to keep myself motivated before I can motivate others. I always try to maintain positive thinking and remain approachable in order to have a good relationship with the colleagues.

I’ll do my best as a Sales Staff first and slowly gain more experience. I hope I can be a manager or a sales trainer eventually.
