The average opening time of store is 10:00a.m. Staff comes 15 minutes before the opening, time and starts opening preparation.

9:50 Morning gatherings
Before opening store, hold a morning gathering. Cheerful and efficient, because it’s beginning of the day.

・To check incoming merchandise
・To give other instruction if any
10:00 opening operation
Take care of customers asking their needs or preferences, and make sales.
Store operation consists of "counter / cashier ", "customer service", "Eye test", and "Edging / fitting"
Customer service
Asking customers’ needs and preferences, we help them to make best choice of frames and give advices.
We also make proposals of the glass coordination as fashion items, telling the newest fashion trend, function or material of frames.
Eye test
We measure a visitor's eyesight and propose the optimal strength/type of lenses, through careful consultation.
Lens edging – fitting
Being based on the data determined by eye test, do edging of the lenses to fit the frame customer has chosen, and make up to a pair of glasses, and finally adjusting the pair of glasses to individual customers faces to obtain optimal sight and comfort.
Cashier
After handing over the glasses to customers, we receive the payment from customers.
Be very careful not to make typing errors or other transaction mistakes, because these troubles are big annoyance to customers.
Breaks
For 8 hours service, 1 hour break is given by rotation. Utilize your break to maintain your concentration.
21:00 Closing operation
Most stores are closed at 21:00 or 22:00 .After the closing time, start closing operation promptly.
Close the register, make up sales report, replenish stock, write down matters to take over to tomorrow shift, etc. Closing operation is various, but can be done in 15 to 20 minutes once you are accustomed.
21:30 End of operation
After submitting sales reports by email, all operation for the day is over. Punch your time card, and lock up the shutters.
※ Usually service is divided into two shift, early shift and late shift.
